For those of you who know me well you would think that I would dive into something that deals with music or singing.  Even though this did cross my mind I wanted to look a little deeper into what I wanted to be known for online.

For an Internet marketer it seems like you get known by dominating a specific market.  And this could be anything from selling jewelry, makeup, electronics,  sports memorabilia, music, and many different kinds of physical products.  But on the Internet you can also sell Information, training, videos, and audio that can be instantly transferred and downloaded to your customer with one click of the mouse.  So, this opened up many more possibilities for me to pursue.

I read Mastering Niche Marketing: A Definitive Guide to Profiting From Ideas in a Competitive Market, which was a quick read for me, and it gave me a lot of ideas.  Then I started to survey myself.  I looked at all of the things that I like, my skills, hobbies, likes, dislikes, anything that I could think of I wrote down.  I categorized everything and had a long list of many things that I could do.  So now this made things hard.  There were a lot of things that I wanted to do online but now I had to narrow it down to something that I could start with and dedicate myself to making it successful.

So, what did I choose?  Well here it is in a general sense.  My niche will be based upon helping others help themselves.  Whether it be self help techniques, team building, leadership training, effective communication, resume enhancement, enriching your child’s education, budgeting etc…  I will focus my business on people.  The products that I will develop and offer will positively benefit the person who buys.

How will I do all of this?   You will find out very soon.  I’m not letting the cat out of the bag yet, but I will keep you updated and give out little snippets of information along the way.
